Park Regis Birmingham Supports The Birmingham Christmas Shelter

Switch Hospitality Management continue to focus their corporate responsibility policy on the vulnerable & homeless, as part of this Park Regis Birmingham ensured that over 15,000 children from vulnerable families received a balanced meal during the Covid pandemic.

When we were introduced to the Birmingham Christmas Shelter, we recognised immediately that keeping local homeless and other adults who would be alone at Christmas, warm, safe and with food was crucial.  The shelter has an average of 120 guests each day and is open from the 24th to the 28th of December providing three hot meals, sandwiches and snacks.

We have assisted in purchasing food to assist the shelter throughout the week and will also be assisting in the cooking of the Turkey’s on Christmas Day for them.

John Angus, Managing Director of Switch Hospitality said “Supporting local charities where you can directly see the results of your support is greatly rewarding.  I will be volunteering at the shelter with my family and a number of our team have also signed up to volunteer, we are delighted that we can assist Zak and the amazing team of volunteers.”
